If your car’s temperature gauge is reading high, then you may need your radiator to be repaired. Your radiator works hard to keep your engine from overheating. The radiator runs the coolant through tubes to remove heat from the fluid and return it to acceptable levels. The fan will also turn on to help cool down the fluid temperatures. This is a constant, ongoing process to help keep your engine cool.
If your radiator passageways get clogged, the fluid will stop flowing through the system, causing too much pressure which can, in turn, damage the hoses, water pump, and thermostat. If it is a blockage, our technicians will either replace the affected areas or perform a full coolant flush to knock the blockage loose.
